Rey Campero Espadin mescal is produced in southern Oaxaca in Mexico. The Rey Campero – King of the Countryside – range focuses on small batch production using a range of different agaves to create mezcals that show off the flavours of their raw ingredients and terroir. This is made with Espadin agave that are cooked in earth pits before fermentation and then double distilled in copper stills. It's got rich smoke at the back, but is packed with sweet, fruity notes.
